So let me get this straight: You discover a band you really dig that maybe not a lot of folks know about but instead of wanting other people to hear how awesome they are and possibly enjoy them too, you say to your friends “I just heard this great new band that you guys haven’t heard yet…” And they reply “Oh nice, who are they?” To which you respond “Yeeeaah… if I told you that, I wouldn’t feel cooler than you anymore so, nevermind.”
That’s how I act.
At first, I’ll discover this unknown, amazing band, and get annoyed that no one knows or enjoys them.
Then, if people know them, it pisses me off.
